GENUINE FLAVOURS, DELICIOUS MEALS
In Jakola Farm’s kitchen the genuine Finnish flavours are emphasized. Milk, bread and home-made juice are highly appreciated.
The idea of regional food is put into practice, fresh fish is caught in the surrounding lakes and rivers, the herbs seasoning the dishes are grown in own kitchen garden and the berries and the mushrooms are picked in the surrounding woods.
At Jakola Farm you can also enjoy game dishes, the elk steak served with sea buckthorn berries for example is a real delicacy. In autumn different lamb meals are also available.
You can enjoy your meals not only in Rentola but also in a Lapp hut or in a wilderness cabin. If you wish, you can also participate in the cooking preparing flame-cooked fish of the salmon you have caught or frying crepes.
